To celebrate their 75th birthday Ford Jaguar is giving their XKR a bit of an upgrade, and calling it the XKR 75. As Jaguar puts it “”deliver a combination of enhanced performance, superb chassis and steering control and grip levels to inspire the driving enthusiast to explore the true potential of the XKR’s capabilities.” The details of the makeover are quite impressive with features such as 530 horsepower with 483 pound-feet of torque, courtesy of the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. What this all really means is 0 to 60 in just 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 174 mph!
The exterior boasts a new Stratus Grey finish, red brake calipers that contrast to the 20-inch gloss Vortex forged lightweight alloys with a dark technical finish and diamond turn. An optional body graphic that runs from the front bumper to the rear is also available. The interior has been done up in
charcoal leather dressed with ivory stitching. The dash and center console are finished in gloss piano black and the headliner is Jet suedecloth. This is available to preorder in England starting in July for about $105,000, with only 75 available. Get your checkbooks ready!
