Uchhh, Nice Watch: 3/8/10

Good Monday morning to you all, and I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. I figured that offering you all a wrist wear selection that was relatively affordable would do nothing but frustrate you, especially since “rent day” just passed. Instead, I offer you a “big dog” piece for you to admire like something in a museum, or give you a boost to “get to work” this week, so one day you too can afford a piece like this. Well according to Cartier, this “Calibre” is in fact meant to be affordable, with a starting price of $6500 (eyes rolling back in my head). The watch is a beautiful 42mm in diameter and comes in steel, 18k rose gold, or two-tone with a gold bezel and steel case. The movement is expectantly automatic, which is what we are all used to from Cartier and their normal $100,000 price tagged watches. The details are gorgeous and also what we’ve come to expect from the watch legend. I have no purchasing options as of yet, but does it really matter at this point?
