Camping Snuggie

I guess calling this a “Camping Snuggie” is actually a bit disrespectful, but as crazy as this looks, it’s a damn good idea. The JakPak is a waterproof jacket, that transforms into a sleeping bag/one person tent, complete with insect netting. Available in Green or Black for $250, this is gadget is set to revolutionize the world of camping, and change the life of Man vs. Wild‘s Bear Grilz. I swear if I don’t see him rockin’ one of these soon, then the people who are in charge of the company that makes JakPaks need to be fired. On a side note, it’s sort of a catch 22 for Bear (if that really is his government name), because then the show gets less interesting. I love watching him make sleeping bags out of the fat off a dead Yak’s back. Anyhow, with the patent still pending, look for these to be available in a few months at your favorite camping supply store.
