Sneakers I Dig: 2/23/10

I’m usually more of a sneaker purist, and tend to just “be ok” with the usual suspects like Nike, Adidas, Puma etc. This is my first “high fashion” feature, courtesy of Puma and Alexander McQueen (R.I.P.). These are very nice if you’re looking to step your sneaker game up a little bit. What’s nice about these is that the color, material choices, and silhouette read “formal,” which there may be room for in your collection. The draw back of a high fashion sneaker: price. These go for $328, but why not pick up one of Alexander McQueen’s last pieces of art. (If you didn’t know, he committed suicide a week or two ago). Inspired by boxing sneakers (think Mike Tyson in his prime) and simply called the Tech K.O., you can pick these up here.
