Happy almost weekend peoples. Since the weekend is almost here and weekends are all about “coolin’ out,” I figured I’d hit you all with some “cool out” sneakers. One of the highlights of 2009 was a silhouette created by designer Stefan Janoski. Inspired by your father’s boat shoes, the Nike SB Stefan Janoski’s are now dropping in the US in a Dark Army color. But don’t be fooled by the green, that my friend is also a neutral. I guess a large majority of us are being greeted by a foot or more of snow when we leave the house, but once it warms up you’ll thank me for recommending these. A pair of shorts, a white tee (neck line of your choice), and you’re good to go. Available here for a measly $70!

Just curious – what socks would you wear with these if you were wearing shorts? What do you think of those ankle socks that are basically invisible b/c they’re so low? Is that cheating?

  2. Whutsiznaim says:

Not cheating, I’d wear those for sure. Actually I do wear those almost every time I wear sneakers with shorts. I don’t really like the way socks look with sneakers, unless I’m in the gym or playing basketball.

Which reminds me: i’m making a public request for a whole “what do I wear when I’m working out” post. Not basketball-specific, since you already basically rocked that w/the Duke shorts article.
