That’s pretty damn funny. I used to love Ric Flair. I also appreciate that they used the super old footage, when wrestling was underground, shot in a studio, and broadcasted on TBS. Ahh, those were the good old days…
Does it say anything about a person, which wrestlers they loved? My favorite was Junkyard Dog, and my anti-favorite Rowdy Roddy Piper. I always felt like he was Kevin McHale in a kilt.
My favorites were anyone that was “juiced” out of their minds and painted their faces i.e Sting, and the Road Warriors. In my mind, they were like 3-guards/small forwards. Like not the fat, tall, usually uncoordinated guy that serves only one purpose, but definitely not the quick little midget that could dribble. More of a do-it-all type of fella. They were strong, but would also jump off the top rope on that ass. Exactly what I aspired to be as a basketball player, and a professional wrestler, both when I was like 10 years old.
