“Now usually I don’t do this but, uhhh…..” Ok let me just start this by explaining my feeling about Casio G-Shocks in general, and the history of them in fashion. Here’s the short version: Casio G-Shocks came out in the ’80′s, and people wore them. Then they re-emerged in the late 90′s, and then in the mid 2000′s when they got SUPER popular again. For the last 5 years they have been all the rage, specifically the white ones. Wearing a white G-shock, was like “the thing” within the “cool kids’” circle. So basically, I’m over it, and have chosen to never feature them within my watch posts. Every single company on Earth does a G-Shock collaboration, and “ok, I get it, they’re cool”

Well the latest offering from the G-Shock collection is the GA-100 “Three-Eye,” which I like because it doesn’t look like a “cool kids” watch. It’s simple and basic, yet has a few fun details to keep you entertained, and keep the onlookers looking on and thinking….well…. “uchhh, nice watch.” The watch features both digital and analogue time, for before and after you’ve had your morning coffee. They are offering 3 different colors, all of which are nice. Just be careful if you go with the white one. I like it, but remember what I said about white G-Shocks and the stigma they carry. No word on when these will be out officially, but the beauty of a Casio G-Shock is that they usually cost less than $100. Oh and by the way, they’re waterproof, and you can pretty much run them over with your car and they’ll be fine.
