Skiff Reader….wow

First there was the Kindle, then the Nook (or was it the other way around), and soon there will be the Skiff Reader: “the largest yet thinnest ebook reader to date.” I’m not a huge reader (ironic, I know) but I have to say this is quite a bit more impressive than it’s smaller yet heavier predecessors. It’s just a quarter of an inch thick, and boasts an 11.5 inch touch screen. This will be available sometime in the “1-0″ (which means 2010 in my cool new slang I made up yesterday) through Sprint and it’s 3G network. No official partnerships have been announced, but expect access to tons of books, magazines, and newspapers. Needless to say the larger screen makes it easier to read. Check for more news on the Skiff Reader in the near future (just probably not here).
