Bad Girls Club: Oxygen Network’s Bizarre Freakshow That Always Goes Down Smooth

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, exactly, but I have some new and awful obsession with Trash TV. Maybe there’s not enough going on in my life. Maybe I’m sensing that I will not have another chance to watch this much TV when I move in the spring; cable seems an unlikelihood. Maybe it’s the passage of the decade: I need a preponderance of sad, disgusting, bad-behavior media to send me over the top, to make me feel whole.

But my OLD favorite show is now “Jersey Shore,” and my NEW favorite show is “Bad Girls Club,” on the Oxygen Network. (Isn’t that amazing, that something this trashy is coming out of the Oxygen Network? I thought that channel was supposed to appeal to women’s interests; I guess what I didn’t take into account is that women can be as shallow and as blood-thirsty as the menfolk among us.)

Are you feeling this? Are you feeling “Bad Girls?” Are you feeling television that tastes like candy? Television so rich in cat-fighting, hair-pulling, on-air displays of blatant hair extensions so coarse and vulgar that it makes watching the local news or The Weather Channel feel like a cerebral event in comparision? Cause I’m feeling it. I’m feeling it hard.

Warning: foul language abounds in this clip (Bad Girls like to call you out). Warning: claws are extended; Jerry Springer’s bouncers are needed (so if you don’t like violence, go watch a UFC match, it’s super super chill in comparison). Warning: let no one know of your obsession for Natalie and Portia. Let know one know, you think Bad is beautiful.
