Must Read: 48 Laws of Power

I’m probably not the first person to tell any of you to read this book, but it’s so accessible and I feel like most people still have yet to read it. Let’s be honest, people suck, so why not arm yourself with the knowledge to be ready for any scenario. Written in 1998, this book has become very popular. Though a large portion of the book is anecdotes from various historical figures, which in my opinion makes it unnecessarily long and boring, there is a summary of each “law” in the beginning of each chapter that allows you to buy the book and have the “cliff notes” built right in. Though I’m not a huge reader, this book has helped me make decisions through many of life’s little conundrums, and I often go back and review certain laws in certain situations. The book is 1 part instruction manual, 1 part playbook and I highly recommend it. It can be purchased pretty much anywhere, but I always lean towards Amazon.
