Don’t Call It A Comeback…

men
Fashion’s latest mash-up hit stores today.  Jil Sander collaborated with Japanese super-giant Uniqlo to create a men’s (and women’s!) line of sleek, clean, minimalistic pieces. Unfamiliar with Uniqlo? It is best known to my friends and I as the Japanese version of the Gap, as it carries a bevy of basics at prices that are less than, well, The Gap. I can’t even count the times I’ve walked into this store filled with anticipation for all the possibilities I may find. Sadly enough, I always leave empty handed. Uniqlo, you have never delivered for me. So secretly, I am not a fan. I am, however, a fan of the fact that Sander has come out of fashion hiding after five or so years. I’ll be making the trek all the way downtown to check it out, even if I don’t buy a single thing.  You can get yr fix here.

Editor’s Note: Between boxers, socks, jeans, and white V-Necks, I think I wear something from Uniqlo at least 5, if not 7 days a week. Guys, its the best…but only if you live in NYC. Sorry :(
